A closer look

A small world, in motion.

Lift the glass dome to reveal a miniature garden held within a sculptural framework. A slow turn shows the arches, planting pockets and open spaces that give Azulik its character.

Supplied planted with its base and glass dome. Available for collection from our Docklands studio.

The design exploration

Somewhere between architecture and a garden.

Azulik began with a question: what if a terrarium could become a piece of architecture for plants?

The organic architectural language of Azulik and the flowing, nature-led forms of Antoni Gaudí became points of reference. Arches, branching structures and spaces that feel grown rather than assembled informed a sculptural landscape on a much smaller scale.

Developed through an exploration that began around eighteen months ago, this is Namami’s own interpretation: a living object shaped by experimentation with form and 3D printing.

Inside the studio

An exploration, brought to life.

From printed structure to planted composition, Azulik brings digital making and hands-on work together. Small plants are arranged within the sculptural vessels, turning an architectural study into a miniature living garden.

Made in a very limited experimental run, with availability also shaped by the small number of suitable glass domes. Each planting has its own character, and will continue to change as it grows.

The studio photographs show the making process and exploratory pieces.

A connected composition

More than a collection of little pots.

The branching structure holds planting vessels at different heights, opening pockets of greenery through its curves. Integrated channels connect the vessels, allowing water to move down towards a lower reservoir of soil and crushed rock.

The arrangement is designed to hold moisture within the terrarium environment. The glass dome completes the composition, enclosing a small world of form, texture and living colour.

Comes planted as shown with standard Bottle Babies. You can change or replace them with other Bottle Babies over time, keeping the garden your own as it grows.

Before you bring it home

A living piece. A few considered details.

What’s included

Azulik comes planted as shown in the product images, with standard Bottle Babies, the sculptural 3D-printed planter, base and glass dome. Supplied assembled.

The Bottle Babies can be changed or replaced over time. Open views show the structure with the dome removed; studio photographs include exploratory pieces. Living plants naturally grow and change.

Dimensions

Approximately 30 cm in total height, with a glass dome approximately 18 cm in diameter.

A very limited studio creation

Azulik is part of Namami’s Studio Exploration series, SE020. It comes from a very small experimental production, rather than a regular production range. The listing currently offers one available piece.

Caring for your terrarium
  • Light: Keep in bright, indirect light, away from direct sun, heaters and hot windowsills.
  • Water: Check the soil and plants before watering. Add only a small amount when needed; keep the planting lightly moist, never soggy. Do not follow a fixed watering schedule.
  • Condensation: A little misting on the glass is normal. If heavy condensation persists or the planting stays too wet, lift the dome briefly to allow excess moisture to escape.
  • Growth: Remove fallen or yellowing leaves and gently trim plants as they grow, leaving space around the glass.
  • Handling: Remove the dome carefully for access. Support the base when moving the terrarium; do not lift it by the planted arches.
Can I change the Bottle Babies?

Azulik comes planted as shown in the product images, using standard Bottle Babies. The supplied plants can be changed or replaced with any other Bottle Babies, so you can refresh the composition as it grows.

Choose plants that fit the planting pockets and are suitable for the humid conditions beneath the dome. Follow the care needs of the varieties you select, and handle the roots and sculptural structure gently when replanting.
