What charger should I use?
Use a standard 5V USB charger rated at 2A or higher with a compatible USB-C cable. Underpowered chargers may charge the lamp very slowly or may not charge it correctly.
How do I know when the lamp is fully charged?
The indicator inside the base displays red while charging and green when fully charged. If no red light appears, try another USB-C cable and a different 2A or higher charger.
How long does the battery last?
A full charge provides up to 15 hours of use at lower brightness or approximately 5 hours at maximum brightness. Battery life varies depending on the brightness, colour mode and usage.
Does the Iris Cordless connect to an app?
No. The Iris Cordless is controlled using the included remote and does not connect to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or a mobile app.
How does the remote work?
The remote uses infrared technology and must be pointed towards the lamp’s receiver. Before use, ensure the battery tab has been removed and the battery tray is fully inserted.
How does the button on the base work?
A single press turns the lamp on or changes the light mode. Press and hold the button to switch the lamp off. If the button feels jammed or does not respond, please do not force or remove it. Contact us for assistance.
Will every light colour look the same through each shade?
The complete colour spectrum is clearest through the Crème shade. Other shade colours naturally filter the light and create their own tinted variations. Brightness and warmth remain adjustable.
Can the rechargeable battery or lighting unit be replaced?
Yes. The rechargeable lighting unit and battery are contained within the replaceable base. Like all rechargeable products, battery performance may gradually reduce over time. If a replacement is ever required, contact us and we can provide a compatible base at minimal cost.
What should I do if the lamp stops charging or does not hold its charge?
Try another USB-C cable and a standard 5V charger rated at 2A or higher, then allow the lamp to charge fully. If the charging indicator does not appear or the lamp still does not hold its charge, contact us so we can assist or arrange a replacement base.
Does the lamp require assembly?
No. The Iris Cordless arrives fully assembled and ready to use.
Is the Iris Cordless safe for use in Australia?
The lamp is powered by a 5V Class III extra-low-voltage rechargeable lighting unit. Namami Studio is a registered Responsible Supplier under the Australian Electrical Equipment Safety System, and all electrical components are sourced from compliant manufacturers.
Is the Iris Cordless suitable for outdoor use?
The Iris Cordless is designed for indoor use and is not weatherproof. Keep it dry and protected from rain, moisture and extreme heat.
