Flowing ribs wrap around the form, creating an organic silhouette that feels calm and understated by day, then comes alive with remarkable depth once illuminated. Rather than simply lighting a room, Mycelia is designed to shape its mood.

Designed and handmade in Melbourne, each shade is produced using computational design and precision 3D printing to recreate the branching patterns found in nature. The intricate geometry follows the logic of real mushroom gills, resulting in a form that appears both familiar and unexpected. Every shade is individually finished by hand, with subtle variations that make each piece uniquely its own.

Made from a plant-based bioplastic, Mycelia balances contemporary manufacturing with thoughtful craftsmanship. The layered construction gently diffuses warm light, revealing the fine details of the structure while creating a soft ambient glow.
