How long will my order take to arrive?

All Namami Studio lamps are made to order with care in Melbourne.

After you place your order:

• Production & packaging takes 3–5 business days

• You’ll receive a tracking number once dispatched

What materials are your lamps made of?

Our lamps are primarily made from biodegradable PLA, a plant-based plastic derived from corn starch. It’s lightweight, durable, and 3D-printed locally in Melbourne.

We also offer a growing selection of products made from recycled PLA, sourced from coffee cup lids and post-consumer PLA waste.

This recycled material is supplied in partnership with a UNSW-based research group, supporting our mission to make design more circular and sustainable.

Can I replace the light bulb in my lamp?

Yes! All our lamps use standard E27 LED bulbs for easy maintenance.

Here’s what you need to know:

• Simply unscrew the base to replace the bulb

• Compatible with standard, dimmable, and RGB smart LED bulbs

• Maximum supported wattage: 13W (LED only)

Using anything higher may damage the lamp or compromise safety.

Are Namami Studio lamps certified and safe?

Yes – safety is a top priority. Namami Studio is a registered Responsible Supplier under the EESS (Australia).

All components are compliant with Australian electrical safety standards:

• Cord sets: ✅ RCM certified

• Warm white LED bulbs: ✅ RCM approved

• RGB smart bulbs: ✅ CE & EMC compliant

🛑 Important:

Our lamps are designed for LED bulbs only, with a maximum wattage of 13W.

Do not use halogen, incandescent, or bulbs exceeding this limit.

How do I assemble my lamp?

We’ve designed our products to be simple and intuitive:

  • Table lamps & night lights arrive fully assembled—just plug in and use
  • Pendant lamps require a quick setup:

  • Plug-in pendants (with 6m cable) are ready to hang, no tools required
  • Hardwired pendants must be installed by a licensed electrician to comply with Australian regulations

How do I connect my Smart Lamp to WiFi?

If your lamp includes an RGB Smart Bulb, a setup card should be in the box.

If the card is missing or misplaced, follow these steps:

Step 1: Install the App

Step 2: Reset the Bulb

  • Turn the lamp on and off 3 times with 1-second pauses
  • The bulb should begin blinking rapidly (pairing mode)

Step 3: Pair with Smart Life

  • Open the app → Tap ‘+’ → Select Lighting (Wi-Fi)
  • Connect to your 2.4GHz WiFi network (Smart bulbs don’t support 5GHz)
  • Enter your WiFi password and let it connect

Step 4: Control Your Lamp

  • Rename your lamp and assign it to a room
  • Use the app to adjust color, brightness, and schedules

How do I connect Smart Life with Alexa or Google Home?

For Alexa:

  1. Open the Amazon Alexa app
  2. Go to More → Skills & Games → Search for Smart Life
  3. Tap Enable and log in with your Smart Life account
  4. Go to Devices → Add Device

    🗣 Try: “Alexa, turn on the Iris lamp”

For Google Home:

  1. Open the Google Home app
  2. Tap + → Set up device → Works with Google
  3. Search for Smart Life, link your account

    🗣 Try: “Hey Google, set the lamp to warm white”

Do you offer custom lamp colors or designs?

Yes! We offer:

  • Custom filament colors on request
  • Minor design modifications for special orders
