The Veil Lamp explores the relationship between transparency, colour and light. Two sculptural forms sit within one another, their flowing surfaces overlapping like layers of fabric caught in motion.

When switched off, the coloured inner shade appears softly suspended behind the translucent exterior, creating a sculptural object with depth and contrast. Once illuminated, the inner form emerges as a glowing core, allowing light to travel through the surrounding curves and transform the lamp’s appearance.

Designed to be appreciated throughout the day, Veil shifts between object and atmosphere. Natural light reveals its layered construction and flowing geometry, while evening light brings warmth, depth and a soft ambient glow to the room.

Each piece is 3D-printed in our Melbourne studio from biodegradable materials. Choose from a translucent white or smoky Noir outer shade, paired with a white, yellow or orange inner shade.

Can I replace the bulb?

Yes! The lamp can be easily unscrewed from the bottom to replace the bulb.

How do I assemble the lamp?

Minor assembly is required and takes about 1–2 minutes. Full instructions are included in the box, and no tools are needed.

Are the lamps safe and certified for use in Australia?

Yes. Namami Studio is a registered Responsible Supplier under the Australian Electrical Equipment Safety System (EESS). All of our electrical components are fully certified:

  • Cord sets (including dimmable and switch types) are RCM certified for use in Australia.
  • Standard & Dimmable warm white bulbs are RCM approved.
  • RGB smart bulbs meet CE & EMC international safety standards.

Namami Studio designs and produces only the decorative 3D-printed shades, while all electrical parts are sourced from certified manufacturers. Minor assembly (1–2 minutes) is required when setting up your lamp.
